Client was unable to select both shoots in proposal?

Hello,

I am new to ShootQ and am looking for some help. I created a proposal for a client where she wanted a wedding package and wanted to add on an engagement shoot. I was able to create it no problem in ShootQ but she said when she opened up the proposal she was only able to select just one shoot, but not both. She signed and paid for the engagement shoot, but when I go to review the proposal, the wedding has a red X next to it. Any ideas on why she was only able to select one and not both? Thanks!

  Hi Mindy,

  A client can only choose one package during the during booking process (this is by design). In a situation as you described you could have either 1) edited the package when creating the proposal to include the engagement shoot or 2) you could have allowed the client to add to the engagement session package during the booking process by designating the service as an add-on item (you can set up a product/service as a potential add-on item under Settings > Pricing > Products & Services).

  At this point, there are several options you could do to fix the situation. First, you could reject the proposal, reconfigure it as described above, and resend it to the client. If you do this just make sure you mark the first payment as already paid when creating the payment schedule again. Alternatively, you can choose to the sign the contract now and then create a post-booking order for the the missing package under the shoot's Billing & Legal section.
