Hi! I'm wondering how many of you use Paypal with ShootQ right now. I know it doesn't integrate like Google Checkout, but I really prefer Paypal and I'm trying to see if it's worth going back to Paypal. I want to know if it's worth it and how easy it's been to use Paypal as a third party.

The Pro-Integration works great. Was extremely simple to set up and payments post right away which is of course a beautiful thing.
The downside to this is that this doesn't work for "normal" PayPal accounts. You have to upgrade to "PayPal Payment Pro" which also means there's a $30 a month fee AND they may withhold 20% of your monies (out of each time a client pays you) as what they call "reserve" and will later release said funds it to you in 90 days.
Also... it would be nice if you didn't have to upgrade to PayPal Payment's Pro to use such an awesome & convenient functionality! $30 a month is a bit much. But my clients love it and so do I, but I hate the fees. Oh well, seems like I'll have to increase my rates to cover it all.
The fees are on the payment processors, not ShootQ. No matter what you do for a payment processor, you are looking at about $30 a month to be able to accept credit cards properly.
As for the reserve, I have NEVER had this happen to me. I only experienced a a delay once when entering a payment manually, from a person out of state, it took 3 days to clear after confirmation of the payment was made by the purchaser.
