I am trying to send a contract to a client. The lead is created and the client has called and verbally booked us, but I can not figure out how to simply send the contract out. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance if anyone can.

HI LJ,
If the client has verbally booked you, you have 2 options. You can book online still (Sending the proposal/contract out for them to approve and sign) or you can book Manually (Books them in the system, but if you add a contract here, you will be required to sign first). I would typically recommend booking online since I like the fact that the client has to sign the contract first, and make sure the package is exactly correct before anything is finalized. On the other hand, if you have a lot of competition for that date, you may want to book manually to ensure that the date is set in stone with ShootQ. You just need to make sure that the client does sign the contract before continuing with them.
Hope this helps - Natalie
How do you SEND it? There's no button that says "Send now". There's nowhere I see to click that confirms you are emailing the contract to the client. I am having the same problem & getting frustrated. I had to email my client and ask if they got the email from ShootQ. Nope.
OK, so what you will want to do is "Finalize" and then send them an email, generally your "Client Portal Information" email, with the link and password to their personalized portal for your session agreements.
All they need to do from here is click the link and paste the password to have access to view, request changes and add-on products from your price lists that you made public with these packages.
They will then digitally sign the contract and enter their payment information if you are using P3, you will then get an email in return and be asked in ShootQ to also sign the contract to confirm the agreement and accept the booking.
Hope that helps.
I do not work for their company, I just use the system, and have found a few things that are bit confusing and gotten past them, also found a few good workarounds, they are listed out in a blog on here right at the top of the list. You can feel free to get in touch with, email or phone is fine, if I am available I will gladly help you out with the system if you have a question and the ShootQ staff is out for the day.
kalistaimaging.com, my email and phone number direct are right on there.
