Adding information to shoot types I have created

Hi All!  I can't seem to figure out how to add more information to shoots I have created.  For example, we have a shoot type called "HS Seniors," but I lose the ability to show things like how many people, whether the shoot is in-studio or not, etc.  I have attached two documents (the first is the ShootQ-created "Portrait" shoot type, the second is our studio-created "HS Senior" shoot type.  Does anyone know how to allow for the extra information to be included in the self-created shoot types?  Thanks!

  Hello Ann,

  Right now you have the ability to change different shoot types.  However the custom shoot types you create have the default information settings of the category called "other."  Right now there isn't a way to customize the information settings.  We always appreciate feedback and suggestions of ways to improve.  I will pass this suggestion along to be reviewed for a possible feature update in the future.

  Has there been any update on this? This is a must have feature.. We run photo booths and need some of this information from the client during the booking process. Without this, I'm having to spend time sending questions to them and then manually entering it back into the system.

  If you have BarMitzvahs as another shoot type the client cannot put in 2 shoot locations.  We need to have this added...  Customization of the shoot types is pretty important.

  Please update this. We have a destination wedding shoot type and we can not collect the bride and grooms names for the wedding.

  Has this not been updated? We have the same problem - need to be able to input ceremony, reception, and bride and groom info for different types of wedding shoots! Please add this feature ASAP - it should've been there from the get go!

  This would seem like an obvious addition.  If the issue is how the forms dynamically populate with certain fields, why not give us the ability to make those choices and customize shoot types further?

  I am a newborn photographer. I also specialize in families. I need when people come to my website for newborn session inquiry only I need to be able to assign a workflow specifically to that portrait type verses someone that's interested in a maternity and newborn session or someone who only wants a family session. The process for each session type is different so I need to be able to to customize the different types of portrait sessions that are coming in. Seems like the ShootQ system is primarily focused on wedding photographers and portrait photographers are secondary.

  Hi Nicee,

  You currently have the ability to create any shoot type and assign any workflow to those shoot types. For example, you can create a shoot type called 'Newborn' and and also create a workflow for those types of shoots. Other shoot types - like Family Portrait Session or Corporate Headshot Session - could have different workflows. You can also create different lead statuses for each shoot type, too, with automatic correspondence that is specific to a particular shoot type (http://help.shootq.com/entries/27691240-Use-Lead-Tracking).   Uh hi. How about updated this now? Or anything? Guys, what is going on lately?? I haven't heard much progress and I don't plan to migrate over or stick around long if we don't see some legit HUGE improvements that we've been super patiently waiting.

  Lol Robb, I left years ago for Tave and never looked back. It's like leaving an abusive relationship - you know you need to, but you've just invested so much into it that it's hard and they keep saying they'll change. Just pull the plug.

  I just came over here to ask the same question that people have been asking here since 2011. Should I assume this is never goin to happen? Or is it possible to remove the language that is specific to weddings and just make it "Location 1" and "Location 2"?
