I know you can import vCards as Contacts, but I would like to import them as leads. I get a listing every 2 weeks from a local bridal store in electronic form and would like to import them as leads and then have our team work them as leads.

ShootQ -any update?? I, too, receive a lead list and would love to be able to import a csv of leads rather than having to individually enter each one. Thank you!!!
Surely there has to be a simple way to do this rather than touching each one!
Still no response from ShootQ? So, am I to assume that there's no way to import a lead list from a spreadsheet? We actually have to input each lead individually?

Come on ShootQ! This is really simple CRM stuff. You can export, so your software should be able to import using specified formats. This was brought up in 2011, have you even touched it 5 years later?

You can import and export a list of contacts via vCard or CSV under the Relationships tab but this will not automatically create a shoot for that person. I'll submit this suggestion to our development team, though. Perhaps it's something we can incorporate into the next generation of ShootQ that we are currently building.

Has anything changed with this? I would like to be able to import a list of bride leads with all needed information provided electronically. BUT I would like them to create automatic leads upon upload.

No, unfortunately, importing contacts will not automatically create shoots for those people; it will only add them to your contact list under the Relationships tab. I'll add this suggestion again, though, to our feature request list. Also, if you think there are other features that would make good additions to ShootQ, please send them to ideas@shootq.com. Ok! this was July last year and I know that shootq is getting an overall from the ground up. The feature to import a list of leads is really important to those of us in the wedding industry. I currently get a lead list from a bridal show and it is painful to put them into shootq 1 at a time. This should be a feature of the revamped version.
