I'd like to change a shoot from "lead" to "pending" I'm not seeing a way to do this....I must be missing something or confusing the intended functionality for "pending". Help please :)

Alaina Eubank > A lead only changes from Lead to Pending when you have sent the client a proposal for them to review and accept.

Natalie Nelson > I'm not entirely sure what a proposal is yet, but we have essentially booked these people just before signing up for ShootQ but are waiting on them to return the physical contract.
It sounds like I need to delete the lead and just enter it as a booked shoot once I receive the contract...

Lisa Novakowski > Well, that's unfortunate. You can manually book a lead in ShootQ, but I was hoping there was a way to manually change a lead to pending as well.

Alice Baran > Hi Lisa,
You can make a custom lead status called pending if you wish to use it to keep things organized, but the pending section is exclusively for shoots that have pending booking proposals.

Lisa Novakowski > Thanks Alice! That helps to visually keep things organized :)

Cortney Munna > Just a thought: it would be really great if the lead status automatically changed to pending once a proposal is sent

Karl Rouwhorst > I know shootq wants to do things online, but having an option to change leads to pending manually would be a great feature.

Katie Van Buren > Hello Karl and Cortney,
ShootQ is a cloud based system, so having a manual option wouldn't work with the current system. The lead turns into a pending status once the proposal is sent. It no longer exists in the lead area. I hope that helps.

Karl Rouwhorst > Thanks Katie,
Honestly I think ShootQ should incorporate this into there system. I don't see why they couldn't write into there system a manual option to choose pending. Just because it doesn't now, doesn't mean that it shouldn't or can't. ShootQ allows us to manual enter/book a shoot. We don't need to go through the web/cloud based booking engine. So if we are booking shoots manually, why can't we put them into pending manually?

Katie Van Buren > Hi Karl,
I am sorry I think I misunderstood your comment. Changing a lead to a pending status doesn't have anything to do with being cloud based. It is a good suggestion and I will make note of it for our feature update discussions.
