Hi all -
I'm constantly getting partial info from my brides or whomever initially contacts me. What's the best way, using ShootQ, to prompt the contact to enter the rest of the info. Like, mailing address, phone numbers, groom's name and address, etc.
A questionnaire maybe? What method do you guys suggest?
After booking, I send out a questionnaire. I tell my brides to expect it, and that it is Very Long, but allows me to do my job the best I can. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks to get it back from them, but I haven't had anyone refuse to do it. :D
Yep, a questionnaire is the best way. Then they can take their time to complete it and even come back in 2 or 3 sessions to add to it as they have time. Just don't wait until a week before the wedding to send it out to them, they might give you the birdie and I'm not talking about a tweet!
Agreed a questionnaire is the way to go for this kind of information. I like to ask for it in my initial questionnaire that I send to them, before they even book with me. That way I know they are serious if they are providing me with the information right away. If that seems to pushy for your style send it right after they book with you. I also try to collect that information during our meeting if I don't have it already.
