Releases and Updates (March 14, 2016)

Hi Everyone,

Today we updated the SPF text record that is used for the advanced email deliverability option under Settings > Emails > Deliverability & Composition. If you are using this option for email deliverability, you may want to change the current record in your domain to the new one - v=spf1 include:mailspf.shootq.com a mx ~all. This new record requires less DNS lookups which, in turn, reduces the likelihood that your emails sent from ShootQ will be treated as spam. The old record - v=spf1 include:shootq.com a mx ~all - will still function properly and will still show your domain as 'Verified' if correctly configured. But the new one is much improved which is why we recommend using it instead. Check out this article to learn more about the Advanced Deliverability.

And if you are using the default option for email deliverability (no-reply@shootq.com), this update will not affect deliverability settings at all.

Happy Q'ing!
