Beanstream and SkipJack - Discontinued on July 8, 2015

On July 8, 2015 we discontinued support for Beanstream and SkipJack merchant integrations. You can continue to use these merchants but you will need to collect payments manually (and manually mark those invoices as paid).

As alternatives we still offer integrations with several popular merchant accounts listed below. All of these merchants allow for US and Canadian dollars except PayJunction (US only).

Authorize.net

Stripe

Braintree

PayJunction

PayPal Payments Pro

Most of these companies charge about 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. There may also be conversion rate fees for Canadian studios. And some charge a monthly fee. Please contact these respective companies directly regarding their pricing and features. The most popular merchant accounts with ShootQ users are Authorize.net and Stripe. However, we suggest basing your decision on the particular needs of your studio.

When considering a new account, you may want to consider the following:

1. How much does it cost per transaction?
2. Are there any monthly fees?
3. Are there any conversion rate fees (for Canadian businesses)?
4. How long does it take to get your money? Is direct deposit an option?

You may want to contact these companies directly with any additional questions you may have. They all offer support contact info on their websites.

If you set up a new account, this article will explain how to integrate a new merchant account with ShootQ. And this article will explain how to delete a merchant account from ShootQ.

If you have any questions or need assistance please feel free to contact us via chat messenger or submit a support ticket. We're available Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm Pacific Time.

Sincerely,

-Team ShootQ
