New features and fixes (October 10, 2013)

 

Hey Everyone!

We’ve just released the latest updates to ShootQ. In this release, we’ve added a frequently requested feature. I think you will be delighted to see what we've been working on.

1. Added Braintree as Another Payment Gateway Service– We have integrated with Braintree and now offer them as another merchant service provider.  This is great news for Google Checkout customers that are looking for an alternative merchant account solution.  Braintree is offering low rates for all Google Checkout customers.   Learn More >>

2. Changing Shoot Dates Updates Scheduled Correspondence - When you change your shoot date all scheduled correspondence and workflow dates are automatically updated.

Minor Updates and Bug Fixes: 

  • Upgrading To Nimbus - Some users were experiencing trouble adding Nimbus to their account.  This issue has been resolved.

    Hi Katie

    Just a question, I contacted ShootQ support last week and asked about integrating with my payment provider USA Epay, I was told these requests are based on popularity so I searched all of the ShootQ Help Hub and don't see any customer or feature requests for Braintree. This thread seems to be active with requests for numerous others http://help.shootq.com/entries/195258-How-do-I-integrate-a-Merchant-Account-

    I even offered to PAY for the integration and was told no. So my question is how, where and who should we contact for feature requests? I don't want to sound mean but I'm seeing dozens and dozens of requests over 2 years old for features/bug fixes etc that are not being addressed. Please help us (your customers and most of us fans) to understand. :)

    I have requested a few times as have other people about having the ability to add a third or forth location to there wedding information.  For example most photographers and videographers start at the brides and grooms house or getting locations.  I just don't understand why an update has not been added to simply give us the option or bride & groom the option to add information like location and time there getting ready.  Why has this not been addressed

    Would LOVE the ability to include buffer times for appointments.

    Buffer time allows you to set an amount of time to let you prepare before or wrap-up after an appointment. For example, you can schedule 50 minute appointments, with 10 minutes at the end, or 50 minute appointments with 5 minutes to prepare at the beginning, and 5 minutes to wrap-up. We'll automatically add this space before and/or after your appointments as you set it. This way, you're always prepared for your appointments.
