Gurus are Improving ShootQ's Performance.
Although the updates are under the hood, we need to take ShootQ offline for a short window of time.
Because you rely on us to support your business, we try to minimize downtime. When we have to take the app offline for improvements, we give you notice so you can prepare.
• The app will go offline on Wednesday, October 19th at 9pm PT (12am ET) and will be back online by 11pm PT (2am ET).
• Areas Affected – ShootQ, Nimbus, and Atrium.
• Feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions.
Thanks for your patience!
That pretty much sucks. However, I Justin told me: " I've documented this for our development team and they'll correct it in the next maintenance update. We added selective syncing with Pictage if the account is linked. This now shows a small icon in the shoot list if synced. This doesn't apply to you, yet it is still showing the empty column.
As a workaround, you can uncheck the first column (it is unlabeled) to hide it. I've attached a screen shot. This should align the column headers properly again."
So I did what Justin suggested, and that took care of my problem on my Mac Desktop. Well, that workaround works just fine on my MacPro (desktop) but there doesn't seem to be a way to uncheck that column on my iPad. One would think if I unchecked it on my desktop, it would show up with the column also being disabled via the iPad. But apparently it doesn't. I use the iPad a lot when I'm away from the studio, I sure wish ShootQ would get more in-tuned to fact that many of use use (or try to use) iPads with our ShootQ accounts and test this stuff out before they implement these changes. It's evident someone didn't think this "report issue" out very well before they added these latest changes.
Hey Jeff, we're not seeing any server issues on our side. Try clearing your browser's cache and then go to https://app.shootq.com
Didn't expect cache to be an issue but clearing it worked. Thanks for the suggestion.
Ron, I found your column heading issue. I realigned them by grabbing the header label and moving it. It snapped to a left justified position in the column and now lines up correctly. Haven't invested in an iPad so you'll have to give that a try.
Got it, thanks.
Im not sure what you did "under the hood" but apparently you forgot to put everything back in that you took out during the process! Is it just me, or does everyone have a problem when trying to list their booked shoots? The header is all messed up, and I can't properly sort my shoots in either ascending or descending order. That's got me a little concerned wondering what else might be messed up.
Wouldn't know, can't get in as of 10/20 11:30 a.m. EDT
