The plus (+) sign in my email address on website control panel forwarding isn't working

This is likely due to your webhosting control panel being an older or outdated version. Ask your webhost if they can update your control panel. If they can't you can switch web hosts to one that uses a modern hosting environment, or you can forward your contact form inquiries to a Gmail address. And then from there, setup a Gmail Filter to forward those to your ShootQ email address since Gmail supports plus signs in email addresses.
