Pictage Integration

Pictage and ShootQ have united to provide you with a way to simplify your workflow.

Instantly Link Your Two Accounts - To get started, directly link your Pictage and ShootQ accounts by adding your ShootQ member credentials to your Pictage account, or vice versa.

Synchronize Your Event Scheduling - Any time you confirm a booking on ShootQ, an event is created in your Pictage account.

Update Your Pictage Events via ShootQ - Whenever you make changes to a confirmed booking in ShootQ, the same event in Pictage will be updated.

Add Pictage Products to Your ShootQ Packages - You decide which Pictage products to add to your ShootQ packages. When you need to place an order with Pictage, you can do it right from your ShootQ account.

Take Advantage of P3 - Pictage Payment Processing - Access the lowest rates for credit card processing in the industry via an easy-to-use system that remembers your clients’ payment info.  Skip the credit check -- your Pictage membership gives you automatic approval.  To learn more about using the all new P3 in ShootQ, check out this knowledgebase article Using P3 in ShootQ

In the Settings tab, there is a new Pictage control panel under Integrations.

On the Pictage control panel settings, enter your username and password for your Pictage account.

Now that you've successfully linked your accounts, any new booking in ShootQ will be created as an event in Pictage.  Even better, any updates made to confirmed bookings in ShootQ will automatically update those same events in Pictage as well.  Integration means less work for you!

Another benefit of the ShootQ-Pictage integration is that you can add products directly from the Pictage catalog into ShootQ.  Simply go to the Pricing control panel, click the "Sell a New Product" button at the top.  There is a new option to "Choose from Pictage's Catalog" that appears.

Select the product you wish to add to your ShootQ price list.

You can adjust selling prices, product option prices and shipping. The cost of goods sold, product options, and even a product image are already filled out for you!

Yes, but what if you already have events on Pictage and need to link it to the file already in Shoot Q?

Rhee - did you get an answer to that?  I have the same question.  Thanks!

I did, Melody!  From the support team:

"Unfortunately, in the first phase of integration, the ability to cancel the sync for certain ShootQ shoots/Pictage events after the sync has started is unavailable. Although ShootQ speaks to Pictage, Pictage doesn't speak with ShootQ in the same way, so cannot tell ShootQ if an event already exists for a particular booked shoot. In the meantime, the initial sync of the accounts allows you to uncheck events already existing in Pictage, to prevent them from being duplicated on the Pictage side. If you skipped this step, you will have to remove the duplicate events via your Pictage portal. Please know this is a feature we hope to include in future integration releases."

Once I actually find a workaround (cuz boy, it's awful trying to create a new order and Shoot Q not letting me because it doesn't recognize the Pictage event!), I'll try to post it.

Thanks Rhee.

I wonder when this will be sorted out!
