You can integrate ShootQ’s contact form on your Facebook page! Here’s how:
In ShootQ, Go to SETTINGS > click FACEBOOK.

The Facebook ShootQ contact form Page will open.
Click ADD TO MY PAGE on the left sidebar, select your page, then close. Go to your Page.

You should see the contact form installed now in your left sidebar.
Select it, then enter in your API credentials (From ShootQ). Press Login…

et voila!

Now, when a prospective client enters their info, it goes straight into ShootQ!

I tried this but the facebook ShootQ contact form page does not open. Any ideas?
Is there a way to change what the fields say or remove some of the fields?
Amy, currently this form is not customizable.
Teresa, I see the Form on your page now. Hopefully this was just a momentary glitch (I know your post date was around ShootQ's down time).
so on Facebook I entered in the API and the brand name ( I just copy and pasted from my shootq website) And I press Login and a box comes up and says Loading and then it disappears and nothing happens. I keep pressing login and again nothing happens. It is not taking my information but it is correct because its the info that came up after I enabled my api key. HELP!!
Ho do I edit the information on my shootq/fb contact page? Thanks!
Randi - I manually linked your account for you. It should be working now.
David - The fields in the contact form cannot be edited right now. We are planning to add this capability in the future. However, you can update the information that displays above the contact form in the ShootQ settings for the contact form under "Personalized Message." https://app.shootq.com/controlpanels/contact
Is anyone getting spam from their Facebook contact form? I started getting leads for John doe a couple weeks ago and they are not showing in my website contact form log so they must be coming from FB. I don't have a contact form setup anywhere else that I''m aware of. Is this happening to anyone else?
I'm having the same problem that Randi did... copy and pasted the API info to the facebook page and click Login, the Loading window appears for a second then goes away and nothing else happens...?
Hi Shalem, I checked out your form, and was able to save your API information on the form. If you take a look now, you're all set!
Hi Melissa, My bet is that the Hohn doe leads are coming from your Blog. Looks like there is a contact form there you may want to check. Send a ticket to help@shootq.com if you have more questions.
I was able to add my shootq form to my page but I wanted it to be the first thing people see when they open my page. Is this possible?
Thanks
Matthieu
I added api key and brand abbreviation , but it says loading and then takes me back to the same page. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Amalie, My best guess is a cookie issue. I was able to update your API, so you're all set!
Mattieu, It took a bit, but there is a way to make the Contact form default.
On your page, click Edit Page. Then, under the Manage permissions tab on the left, change the "Default Landing Tab:" drop-down to "Contact" and save!
I seem to be doing something wrong.
Added the app to our page, got the API and abbriviate name, entered them into the facebook page, click Login, and it dose nothing. Just sites there like I clicked nothing?
Am I missing something?
I added the Public API and Brand Integration, then hit login, but nothing is happening... Any ideas?
Same thing here, nothing happens. Can you manually set it up for us a s well?
Hi all. Please keep in mind that this is NOT an official ShootQ notification, just passing along what I have learned.
The Good folks at ShootQ support sent me a message regarding this item on a ticket I placed with their support Hub, this is a known issue at and they are working tirelessly to get it resolved.
Just thought I would share in case anyone else finds this board and is having the same issues.
Okay. Well at least I know I'm not the only one having this issue. I removed the tab and re-added it once already and was wondering if I had done something wrong because it still wasn't working.
Any idea when this will be resolved? I tried to add shootQ to Facebook too and when I hit login I get nothing. Thanks!
Hi Violet,
It appears Facebook made a change. We have a developer looking into it today.
Andrew
I entered the API key and the studio Abbreviation
clicked the login and viola! Nothing happened! the form still does not appear on my page.
