We have several customers that love to use the online payment feature but are frustrated that they cannot make partial payments or have another family member or friend make partial payments. If there was an "Amount" field in the payment screen that could be customized with the payment amount desired by the customer, we could satisfy many customers that may live paycheck to paycheck.
Hope we can see this feature soon!

I am having this problem as well. Most of my customers pay in increments when they can. I can't figure out how to set that up for them without going through a lot of hassle. There should be an ability to apply a partial payment towards the full balance.
Yes this is a big problem. For a wedding client we had to go in an alter the order, re record all the payments for the previous invoices and for the balance that was due 30 days before the vent break it into 3 invoices all due the same day for parents and our client to make payments.
The bad part is that even though now they can each pay their amounts, they have to still pay them in order even though the invoices are all due on the same day!!!
This is a terrible inconvenience for getting paid online for something that otherwise relieves a lot of the stress of running a small business. A tiny flaw in this system that when you come across partial online payments is a headache to deal with.
I think this is a great idea as well.

I just had to redo a brides payment plan to compensate for this issue. She would love to be able to make payments down on her balance and has many months to do it, but until I went in last night and added 6 new payments to cover her balance, she had no options. It's good I could do this, but it would be incredible if a client can log in and just pay the amount they want, when they want towards their balance.

A client asked me about this last night and I am setting up their proposal now....can't believe that shootq doesn't have the ability to do this???? I mean, the whole idea is to make it easy for our clients to pay us....This seems like an easy item to implement. Can someone please respond to this with an indication as to when we could expect this functionality?
Yes! I agree 100% percent. A "Make Early Payment" option is sorely needed.
Please help us work more efficiently. Please, make it easy for our client to send us money when the want to. What's the use of giving them an information page if they can't act on that information by making a partial payment in advance when they want to? Replying to their emails, modifying their payment plan, or calling them to do it it manually is not a very efficient way of getting this done.

It's been over 7 months since we submitted this request. Any answer on this? There are many of your customers that seem to think we need this feature in order to professionally service our customers , so could we at least get a "Yes" or a "No"?

I just ran into this, have a wedding client who would love to make little payments online as she can...would love a change to just add "amount" to the payment page!

I haven't tried to utilize this yet but say it as a feature added - so I wanted to send a big THANK YOU! I am a little disappointed that it took so long...but at the same time, happy that it is here. So thank you for taking the time to look at these requests and implement them....
