Keep Logged In option / Remember me option

I don't use a public computer. I'm the only one that uses my laptop. It feels like I have to re-log into ShootQ so many times. Almost every major website has a "remember me" option so that they don't have to log in for 1 to 2 weeks.  That would be awesome to have.

This is the only website I have to keep login in. Such a waste of my time especially when I type fast and can't get it right from first time! There should be an option. For people who are scared that somebody will find out how many weddings they have booked - they simply don't select checkbox "Log me in automatically"

Do we have any progress on this?  It is really annoying when I have to use ShootQ about 15 times a day to make a client WAIT on the phone while I login... is there ANY way we can SAVE our information on our personal computers?

ShootQ

For security reasons, we don't provide a "remember me" feature to stay logged in in the application.  We don't do anything to limit your browser from remembering your username and password though.

When you first log in to ShootQ, we'll remember you for up to 12 hours.  That 12 hour time period is renewed every time you load a page in the application.  If you haven't signed out, you'll be able to get back into ShootQ without logging in during that 12 hour window.

Justin,

The ability to stay logged in for 12 hours has NEVER worked for me.  For example:  If I have multiple tabs open in Firefox I flip over to another tab to browse the net, check facebook, whatever (leaving the other tab with ShootQ open), and come back even 10 minutes later to try and navigate through ShootQ it will take me back to the main page and make me log in again.

I know that the answer is "security"... I have read that before on the site but just the "option" to stay logged in is all I am asking for.  I assume this means that this will never be an option?

Somehow I can stay logged into my BANKING browser window longer than I can ShootQ.

Amber, I see your support ticket on this.  Something sounds fishy.  I'll reply to your ticket so we can dig a little deeper.

what security? Are you trying to protect me from my customers? Because if it takes me forever to get in and give them the answers - it will definitely be perfectly secure and no bookings!

For those who concerned about their security obviously they wouldn't choose an option to stay logged in.

I've gotten around these issues by setting my home page to https://app.shootq.com  I haven't had to log back in at all!

Every time I log into Pictage, even if I haven't logged there for a week, I don't need a password. With shootQ, if I open a new browser window (being already logged in), it requires a password. Do something.

@Joseph.. this is also driving me CRAZY.  I'm a recent ShootQ subscriber, but have had Pictage for years.  Pictage stays logged in; why can't ShootQ?  Please please PLEASE make this an option, I hate having to constantly log in (same goes for the Atrium page).

This is driving me crazy too! Enough for me to consider leaving ShootQ. Please change this and give us an option (like Pictage does).
