It would be great if the add on page was more organized to follow the categories in which they are placed. Right now, items are all over the place and clients just see a big ol' mess and bypass it. It would be awesome to have it organized by: Albums, Canvas, Digital Products, Services, etc. And have it follow the categories that each photographer sets up for their products!

I think it would be nice to create customizable sections so we can put in our own titles
I agree... it would be nice if you created a category and then it would display one item with the details... and then on a drop down list below the main item you could choose additional sizes/products.
Example: Assembled Album 5x5 10 pages... this has the photo and all the info... right under it would be the drop down with 5x5 24 page ...5x5 -40 pages etc.
This would really clean up the price listings IMO.

another good idea would be to have every option on the add-ons page have customizable fields so you can choose what items have customizable drop down menus or check boxes. And then have main items with sub items so, for example:
- 10x10 album 20 pages (drop down menu w/numbers)
*Add more pages (custom drop down with different numbers)
*Upgrade cover (check box)
- Parent Album (Custom drop down with different types)
This way people can keep it the same as how it is now if they like, but they can also customize it if they like.
We agree with all of this. We would LOVE to see this happen...... when will it happen? :-)
We should also have "case sensitive" additions. For example, a category with specific add on s may have a description " These additional products and services is only available with the Full Standard package" or "These products are available for "Child Portrait sessions only"
agreed! its so messy
this sounds AWEsome!! Is this in the works yet? btw, ShootQ is definitely already spectacular, it's even greater that we can make suggestions =)

Yes I agree, this needs to be done. The add on page is a horrible mess to navigate for clients and makes it difficult to sell.
This sounds good, I would also like the add on page to available all the time to my clients via their client portal, so they can add on anytime!
Yes, this needs to be improved. I agree with Tyson. Add on page must be visible to the client all the time via their portal.
I want my products and the prices (a la carte) displayed (but only able to add a select few) so that my potential clients can see the a la carte prices of items that are included in the packages that interest them. This will help to give them a better grasp of the value of each package.
I agree!!! This is a downside to using ShootQ, as we were previously able to offer only select add-ons per package. Pricing pages don't solve the issue because we often negotiate with clients for different offers (ie. free engagement session) and don't want to then include those as an add-on.
Definitely agree that this needs to be redesigned to allow us more flexability to customize this page to what we each need.

While we're talking about tweaking the add-on section. How about the ability to hide/show add-ons on a per client basis (I know that you can control it based on shoot type, but I would want more control). After meeting with a client I want to offer them a proposal that's truly based on what we talked about rather than just a smattering of options that has to be the same for everyone.
