Gallery Upload from Computer - Images not in correct order

When I upload images to a gallery from my computer, the upload dialog shows them uploading in filename order, but they are not displayed in order. I've spent hours reordering photos. If it helps, my file naming convention is "YYMMDD.####.Title.jpg" where #### is the sequence number by which I want to sort. The date is the same for each file.
Also, the upload dialog often shows files with the red "x" indicating there was a problem, but they appear in my gallery. Likewise, some green checked files do not appear.

Frustrated... just got back to working on the same troubled gallery. After 45 minutes of rearranging photos, deleting duplicates, and checking everything over I accidentally deleted the entire gallery and lost the work. I kept having to delete photos, and in the end I didn't have an image selected though I thought I did. Delete, acknowledge, gallery gone. I know I was moving too fast, but when it takes this long to fix a gallery that's how things go. I would love to see some attention on this issue. It's incredibly frustrating. I've been so excited about Nimbus and have invested a lot of money in a custom design. Now I'm wondering if that was the right call. The glitches are killing me and they don't seem to be getting addressed. (I know this one fell on the holidays, but in general things seem to be maturing slowly.)
Bump - would love to hear someone's thoughts on this issue.

Hey Bill,
I have a ticket in that will allow you to sort by filename. It's actually a little harder to implement than you would think, but I think it's an important feature.
