So far I have had a total of 12 comments on my Nimbus site since going live. All of them are spam. The spam filter has had mixed success, automatically approving some comments while marking others as spam. There are a couple suggestions for how Nimbus handles comments and spam.
1. add the ability to require all comments be approved before they post to the site.
2. send an email to the site administrator when a new comment is left.
3. be able to actually delete a comment instead of changing it's status to deleted. Right now when I delete a comment it is still showing on the dashboard and showing up in the comments section on the back-end of the site. If I delete a comment, I think it should actually delete and not just have a status change. Also, if delete is just a status change for now then it would be great to have an "empty trash" function.
Hopefully all of that makes sense. My brain is a little foggy this morning.

Oooh... we spend money for the anti-spam service. That's no good. Thanks so much for reporting this; we'll dig into your nimbus site and investigate.
Thanks Andrew. I think there were only a handful of comments that made it through the spam filter however, since they were automatically approved which is my concern. I'd like to not have any comment post to our site unless we've approved it or have at least been notified that it's there.
The filter's worked well for me - nothing's been published, but even after I choose to delete the comments they're still listed on my dashboard. Not a huge deal, but it bums me out every time I log-in to Nimbus and am reminded that I should be buying viagra.
I have never had so much blog spam in my 7 years - I am afraid to launch my nimbs sure because I am getting so much JUNK - Had to delete 26 comments from one post alone - What is being done on this?
Also interested to hear more information. After the initial Nimbus launch it feels like things are stagnant. There's been a lot more discussion and response on the Pictage forum side. Hoping to hear more from ShootQ/Nimbus/Pictage on this.
