I'm curious if anyone else is having problems subscribing to your ShootQ calendars via Mac OS X Lion's iCal 5.0.1. I'm receiving an error from iCal: "There was an error subscribing to the calendar. There was an unexpected error with the request on subscribed calendars (error -1)."
Does anyone else have this problem? is there a solution?

Hi Barry,
We took a look at the problem subscribing with your ShootQ calendar. We can see that a few errors happened around 1am in the morning, but it was nothing major. It appears is was just for a short time period. Try it again and let us know if you are still having this same issue. If you are will you please submit a support ticket with more information so we can take a look "under the hood?"

Hi There,
I'm having the exact same problem on my OSX Lion iCal. I get the error: There was an unexpected error with the request on subscribed calendars (error -1).
Have no idea what is behind it. Maybe lion doesn't like the url? Would love to have the calendar back.
I am having the same problem along with my "booked" shoot calendar not updating new or changed events (that's actually been happing for a while)... I really need to be able to use my calendar, as I rely on it so much!!
Barry,
Thanks for reporting this. We have the development team looking into it and we'll get it fixed. Must have been a change with the way iCal works in Lion.
Still doesn't work for me.
Hey Barry,
I've got a ticket in for this, but the development team will have to research it, fix the problem and then QA will have to test it and the release engineers will deploy it. Since it's not a crippling bug, it will take about a week to fix...just to set expectations.
I'm having this problem as well, just letting you know. can't wait for this to be fixed thanks andrew
Yep. I'm having the same trouble. Thanks for getting the fix in the works.
Yeah, I just told someone I was available...when I'm not. I hadn't noticed the subscription error.. :(
Would really love this to get fixed please.
I got it working by looping through Google Cal. Its a temporary fix but it works for now. From GoogleCal I subscribed to ShootQ's calendar, then used the GoogleCal URL to subscribe on iCal. Now my iPad and iPhone all have the ShootQ calendar.
Hey Everyone,
I'm helping the developer troubleshoot; when he looked into the problem he coudn't find anything. I just successfully subscribed to the booked jobs for everyone who is on this thread (yeah, it was a little tedious.) I'm using iCal 5.0.1 and OSX Lion 10.7.2.
Could everyone do two things for me:
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your help! I actually stopped having the issue shortly after your posted that the team as working on it. I am using the latest version of iCal, 5.0.1 and my computer is OSX Lion version 10.7.2, same as you. I can view all events on the computer as well as my iPhone and iPad (witch also have the latest OS).
I am however, still having a problem with changes in events in the Booked calendar. When I change an event time, or add a new shoot in ShootQ, it sometimes takes day for these changes to appear if ever. I have had to unsubscribe and re-subscribe in the past to have an updated Booked calendar, however, the Leads calendar seems to update just fine and usually within a few mins or hrs. This had been happening for mounts though, and didn't start with the subscription problems. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks again for your hard work!
Maris
Hey Maris (and everyone)
I actually just got the problem to occur on my computer...(see below...sorry about the German). I'm asking Ryan to look into this now. Replication is half the battle!
Hey Folks,
This seems unrelated to Lion, and is likely being caused by a configuration issue on a single one of our several production machines, so it was only being experienced by certain users intermittently. I've made some adjustments on our end to resolve this - could you confirm whether or not you're still having problems? You may need to resubscribe at https://app.shootq.com/shoots/feeds.
I just tested all of your feeds on my local version of iCal and it looks like this problem is solved. If anyone else sees a problem, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Hey Andrew, I know this is an old thread but this looks to be the same problem we are experiencing. We just (finally) switched to iCloud.
Please disregard my las message! Working now.
I'm also late to the game with Lion & iCloud...Just moved to iCloud today & am getting the same error message you all have been. Was there a solution or it just magically started working again for you all? I will also submit a ticket. Screengrab of error attached. Thanks!
