Pictage Selective Sync

Until now, every shoot booked in ShootQ was synced to Pictage.  Selective sync is here!  Now when you book a shoot, you'll have the ability to choose to sync with Pictage.

Pictage Default Settings

A new setting in the Pictage control panel allows you to set the default behavior.  Two options are available:

  • Send every new booking to Pictage automatically
  • Let me choose every time I book an event

Sync Option at Booking

When booking a shoot, a new "Send to Pictage?" option is available.  The option selected depends on the default settings chosen (shown above).

Manually Sync a Shoot

If you've booked a shoot and did not send it to Pictage during booking, you can choose to send it manually.  On the lower-right of the shoot overview page, there is an option to "Sync w/ Pictage Now."  Clicking this link will manually send the shoot to Pictage.

Update Shoot Info

Should you update the details of a shoot in ShootQ, you can manually send the update to Pictage.  Simply click the "Update Now" link on the shoot overview page.

it would be nice if there was an option to synch a ShootQ shoot with an existing Pictage event.

So we usually put engagement images in a separate event from the wedding photos, but the engagement session is part of the overall booking.  Is there any way to link multiple Pictage events to the same shootq shoot? Or am I looking at this the wrong way?

ShootQ

Yaneck - there is a limitation in that ShootQ can only send shoots to Pictage.  It doesn't look like we'll be able to work around this.

Emily - There's no way to link to have more than one Pictage event for a shoot in ShootQ.  If you want a separate event in Pictage for the engagement session, you have a couple options:  1) Create two shoots in ShootQ and sync them to Pictage.  2) Keep both events in ShootQ and manually create the engagement session in Pictage.
