In Nimbus, the look and feel of your site is determined by the theme you've chosen. Themes are a collection of visual settings applied across your Nimbus site as well as the public areas of ShootQ (contact form, pricing pages, client area, etc.).
Most theme settings control the major site elements like navigation menu position, logo size and position, blog and gallery layout, contact form field arrangement, etc. Specific elements of a theme can be customized. The customizable elements for each theme differ, but are generally items like background colors, fonts, link colors, background images, etc.
You can configure your theme by clicking the Themes icon in the Settings area. Be sure you've selected the correct brand in brand drop down menu at the top of the page first! Each brand has it's own site and can be configured to look completely different.
We're training designers like The Phuse, David Wolf and Brian Noah to build themes compatible with Nimbus. Once trained, you'll be able to commission a custom theme for your Nimbus site.
Premium themes are functionally similar to free themes except they must be purchased before being able to publish. Premium themes are created by designers and will be available in the marketplace.
Free themes are commissioned from designers for use in Nimbus. The amount of free themes available will grow as Nimbus matures.

Hey Justin, if we start out with one of the current themes and want to change it later when new ones come available, is it just a matter of tweaking it - like changing a blog theme?
Cayce,
Exactly. We've designe Nimbus to make your content as "portible" as possible between themes. The only things we envision needing to tweak are page layouts (which is a feature we haven't really implement yet anyway.)
Perfect, thanks!
Not real happy with the themes, can you give me some examples of what some people have done with them.
Why can't we create our own custom themes? It would be nice!
Am really looking forward to being able to make our own custom themes, is there an eta on this feature?
I love the functionality that ShootQ can give me and I would really like to consolidate my web based services here. Unfortunately, not being able to customize my theme is a main show stopper that will keep me from migrating my site to Nimbus. I have worked to develop a site that is unique and I don't want to be forced into a generic look and feel. Is there any projected timeline to enable this ability?
