Yet another thing I would love! I would love to be able to attach our own PDF files to outgoing emails. Right now I am copying and pasting email addresses and ShootQ correspondence email addresses in my email program.

That would be a great feature. I hope they add it soon.

That would be a huuuuge help.  Right now I can't use ShootQ's to send a lot of my emails since they usually have contracts, shot lists, etc. attached. :(

Yes, I have a need for that as well.  Also, it would be nice to have the ability to attach PDF's to the web profile for the client.  I often find myself uploading the same series of files for every client.  It would be nice to be able to attach them once, and then assign to the profile.

Wouldn't this be easy to do by simply creating an image that you then inset into the email?

Its not a perfect solution but if you can host the file on a sever then you can include the link to the document in the email. 

We could use this feature too. We have different price lists for each city we shoot in across the nation and world.

it's ironic that i can "Attach file(s) »" to this comment, but not my SQ emails :)

Will this feature allow me to attach pdf versions of invoices? When I do corporate work it drives the accounting departments CRAZY to not get real invoices that they can print. Sometimes it would be nice to just attach a pdf.

If ya'll don't have an online space to upload files that you want to share, then you should install the FREE "DropBox" folder. It's so easy to use, and is a great place to store "Price lists", Marketing Materials, "W9" forms, etc ..... and then just create a link in your SW emails to your files that are on your DropBox. Would love to attach the PDF document you have for tagging people on the Pictage site in Facebook. Don't really want to attach the file every time if I don't have to though. Thanks.

Yep without being able to attach files I probably wont use sq for emails which is too bad.

I have to do a manual work-around for this for EVERY shoot. EVERY SINGLE ONE. It has been a year since this little mod has been requested and I see it is:

1. the second most commented and liked feature add in the SQ forum - second only to the Android app (which I would think would be MUUUCH bigger task)

2. actually planned.

So, logical question is: ahem...when?

so... anybody got an ETA? 

This is getting really frustrating as it seems ShootQ is not very fast in adding improvements. Maybe it is because the new ownership has different priorities. Anyway, there are competitors that seem to be faster in improving their systems so I am considering switching. Does ShootQ have any roadmap on where they are heading and planned improvements? I don't see much happening here at all.

I know personally I have found many many issue with the entire system that we have at least been able to create small workarounds for inside to slightly match our business model. 

I will also say that customer service is fantastic with ShootQ and Pictage and that itself has kept us around with them after we almost dropped it within a week. 

WE are constantly in touch with their "ShootQ genius'" and have submitted several change up ideas to the team over the past month. We hear "The changes to the system that will be released next year have these in them." We'll see I guess. 

We have used the system Studio Cloud which is lacking in its ingratiation, proofing and sales... it has all the great feature ShootQ says they will have with the new release, if these statement are true then we will stick with ShootQ/Pictage for  years to come, if not, they will dropped after the  failed release, not only by us, but by a lot of us I am sure. 

Any ETA on the next release?
