When sending an email manually, i.e. clicking the Send Email link within a shoot, you now have the ability to include attachments. The total attachment size can be 10 MB at most. Additionally, there is a single file size limit of 5 MB.
To add an attachment to an email, drag the file from your computer into the drop zone. Once the file is uploaded, you'll see it below the drop zone. To remove the attachment, click the "remove" link.

Is there going to be a way for us to prune attachments (particularly on completed shoots) so as not to use up all the account's allocated file storage?
Thaaaaaats the way, uh-huh,uh-huh I liiike it...uh-huh, uh-huh.
Many thank you's friends!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Mike,
We're not counting email attachments against your file storage limit!
Is there a way attachments can be added to drafts? This would be a really useful feature for me!
Thanks!
Hi Bryan,
I'm assuming you're talking about what we call email templates in ShootQ. We've got that on our to do list as well. We wanted to get the ability to attach a file to a manually sent email first. It's a little more complicated, but we've got a few ideas we're evaluating.
If you specifically meant drafts, we do save the attachments with an email draft so you can come back later and send the email.
YAY!!! Thanks shootq!
Thanks for the attachments option!
I'm having a problem with attaching a file. It's 4.7mb and it's a pdf file. It uploads but it has a red X instead of a green 'check'. There is no error box so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
I too am having a problem with attachments. When I drag a PNG 537kb file into the window, I get logged out of ShootQ.
Hi Justin! I second Bryan's wishes to save attachements to email templates. And then I third, fourth and fifth that motion! Thanks.
HI Justin,
Yep that's exactly what I'm talking about! Glad to hear you guys have that
on your to do list. The big thing I'm wanting is to be able to send emails
with attachments from my iphone via the shootq app and email templates.
Excited to be able to attach things to normal emails though! Thanks!
Bryan
Hear you loud and clear! We had to lay the groundwork for email attachments before we could add them to email templates. It's coming.
Also excited that the PDF attachments are forthcoming for email templates. I have a "What to Expect" PDF that I send to every bride as soon as she books me, and I would LOVE for that to be automated. Looking forward to it! Any estimated dates for when it will be available?
