From Thomas Lester:
I have an RFE for you. Right now we have basic Quickbooks exporting. This is great, and could save some time. However... the way you currently have it set up doesn't match the way my accountant set it up It also doesn't match the rest of my products. For example, I have an account for Florida Sales tax. It has a number ID as well. When I import a shootq invoice/sale into QB, it makes a ShootQ Sales Tax account. So, I save time by being able to import the data, but then waste a lot of time by having to go and move everything into the correct accounts. It ends up costing me more time than if I had just manually entered it in the first place.
So.. the RFE would be to create a quickbooks export preference. Basically each data type would have a preference field to set the account and number that the user is using in QB. Then, ShootQ's sales tax data would map directly to my quickbooks account. Do this for each data type (sales, cost of goods, etc).
Let me know if you have any questions or need a formal RFE written.
