The location field of non-wedding Shoot Types does not currently have an "Event Variable" for the contracts. This is something we're working on, but in the meantime, if you need to put location information into a contract, or any other custom information, then you can do this by putting those details into the "Package Description" field of a custom package you create in the proposal. This information will then show up in the "Package Description and Contents" variable within your contract.

I was curious what the status was of this?
Thanks guys
Brian
I'm curious about the status of this too. Having an "Event Location" variable for any non-wedding event would be really helpful. To take it a step further, it would be awesome to tag an existing venue contact in that variable too so we don't have to type in addresses over and over again.
Thanks!
Ben
I need this, too. Can we have an update on this? Saw the original post was 9 months ago.
I've brought this to the attention of the higher ups at Shoot Q
:)
Hi all, unfortunately I don't have any update to report yet. We fully understand this problem and have had some great feedback and creative ideas from ShootQ users. Sadly, it's not an easy problem from a technical perspective. There is quite a bit of work that needs to be done in regards to mapping the information to variables that display in contracts, on the shoots as well populating that information from the contact form. These also change based on the event type. I know it's been awhile, but we haven't forgotten about this!
any updates?
The last update on this was over a year ago. Has ShootQ done anything to fix this?
