Link your website to the ShootQ-generated Contact Form

The easiest and most reliable way to connect your website or blog to ShootQ is by simply linking to your ShootQ-generated Contact Form. The first thing you need to do is set up the Contact Form.

Then, in your ShootQ account, navigate to:

Settings > Contact Form

You have three options available when adding the ShootQ-generated Contact Form to your site:

1. View Contact Form

If your website allows you to link to a URL outside of your domain, you can set your site up to redirect clients to this URL when they click on your website's existing "Contact" link.

2. Link Directly

This option displays HTML code for a button which can be embedded into the body of your site. When the client clicks on that button, they will be redirected to your ShootQ-generated Contact Form.

3. Open in New Window

This final option is virtually identical in function to the previous one, but rather than redirect the client from your website it will open your ShootQ-generated Contact Form in a new window.

When using options two or three, you will want to make sure to disable or hide your website or blog's contact form, if it includes one.

We are trying to change our contact form appearance due to new branding. Went to Logo & Color in the settings menu and adjusted  the logo and theme in the atrium backend. When logged in the contact form link correctly displays the new atrium theme and branding. When not logged in the page is unchanged from the former style. How can I update the public contact page?

Hey Tim,

You've turned on Nimbus, so your ShootQ public areas are currently "frozen" in their current state. This is normal for the process of turning on Nimbus — for now. We have this on our list of things to change in the future so alterations to your ShootQ public are are possible while playing with Nimbus.

For now, consider using a Nimbus theme to style your ShootQ contact form. You'll have to publish your Nimbus site to make that visible to the public.

has this issue been resolved yet???  I am frustrated that the contact form is locked to Nimbus when you should be able to have it independent...

I had my custom domain aiming to my nimbus site. But then had my website created. Now the original contact form link is hidden, and the only link visible is my customdoman.com/contact which points to a blank page.  How do I get the original link back so I can link it to my site?
